The event is available to assist exhibitors and sponsors with any questions or issues you may have regarding your PR strategy before or during the event, including tips on contacting press, analysts and bloggers, as well as PR advice based on industry events and topics at Interop that will be of interest. ACCESS TO MEDIA LIST
Beginning August 29, the media list will be available for download in the Exhibitor Services Portal. This list will give you the opportunity to coordinate on-site interviews and meetings with pre-registered press, analysts and bloggers prior to the event. Once available, the media list will be updated each Friday until the event.
*PR agencies will need to obtain login information to the Exhibitor Services portal from their client for access to the media list.*
INCLUSION IN OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE
If your company is planning to make an announcement leading up to or at Interop, we can help you increase exposure through a press release detailing exhibitor news, to be distributed one week prior to the event on September 22. See last year's press release as an example.
Instructions on how to participate will be available closer to the event. Please note that submissions cannot exceed 50 words and no marketing copy will be considered. If you would like to participate in this opportunity but not release specific details of your announcement, we can accommodate you.
MEETING SPACE FOR MEDIA BRIEFINGS
Meeting space is available on-site for exhibitors who have secured briefings with the media. Beginning September 2, this space will be available for pre-reservation in half hour or one hour increments with a time limit of three hours per day/per exhibitor, in order to make this benefit available to all participating exhibitors. Check back for instructions.
Please note that the Media Center may only be used by exhibitors when accompanied by a member of the media. For each meeting, one attendee must be registered as media and the other must be a registered exhibitor or speaker.

PRESS RELEASE GUIDELINES
Interop owns its brands and content and must approve any third party use of its brands and content. If you plan to write a press release about your exhibitor announcement, sponsorship, or other activities around the event, please follow these guidelines:
- Event boilerplate should be included in the press release (see boilerplate below).
- The date and location of the event should be included in the first paragraph: Interop New York is happening September 29 – October 3, 2014 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.
- If you would like to include a quote from Interop GM, Jennifer Jessup, send your release and suggested quote for review and approval to Jamie Porter at . Please allow 24-48 hours turnaround time.
