Private clouds can be a stepping stone to a hybrid public/private architecture. This session will look at workload portability, focusing on which applications are candidates for public clouds and how to prepare applications that can run in several environments.
On Day Two of Enterprise Cloud Summit, we'll turn our eye outward to look at the many public cloud offerings that are levelling the IT playing field. Public cloud providers offer pay-as-you-go economics and tremendous flexibility; but they also create new security, portability, and performance concerns.
