Conference Call: PR Opportunities and Best Practices at Interop
The Interop PR and Marketing teams will conduct a call on Wednesday, March 24 at 10:00 a.m. PT for all Interop Las Vegas 2010 exhibitors to discuss exhibitor operations, marketing and public relations benefits for the event. If you are interested in participating in the call, please dial: 1-800-785-6380 at the above mentioned day and time.
PR Strategy and Counsel
The Interop PR team is available to assist you with any questions or issues you may have regarding your PR strategy before or during the event, including tips on contacting press and analysts, as well as PR advice based on industry events and topics at Interop that will be of interest. Inclusion in Official Interop Press Release
Thank you to all exhibitors who provided a 50-word new product/service description for inclusion in Interop’s exhibitor announcements press release, which will cross the wire on Monday, April 19. The deadline to participate has now passed.
Meeting Rooms for Media Briefings
The meeting rooms are located inside the Media Center, which is located in Ballroom F on the second level of Mandalay Bay Convention Center South. Meeting rooms are only available during the following Media Center hours:

| Tuesday, April 27 | 7:30 am — 5:00 pm |
| Wednesday, April 28 | 7:30 am — 5:00 pm |
| Thursday, April 29 | 8:00 am — 3:00 pm |
Reservations can now be made on a first-come-first-serve basis onsite at the event for briefings confirmed with attending media. Pre-reservation requests for meeting space is closed.
The Media Center may only be used by registered exhibitors, representatives, press and analysts. For each meeting, one attendee must be registered as media (journalist/analyst/blogger) and the other must be a registered exhibitor.
Access to the Media List
The Interop Las Vegas media list is now available and will be updated on a weekly basis, each Friday, leading up to the event. This list will give you the opportunity to coordinate on-site interviews and meetings with press, analysts and bloggers prior to the event. The media list is available for download from the Exhibitor Portal, in the PR section.
* PR agencies will need to obtain login information to the Exhibitor Resource Center from their client for access to the media list. *
Exhibitor Press Collateral Area
Exhibitors can leave their press kits in the Media Center beginning April 26th, 2010. There will be an area for press kits, or any other special items you'd like to make available to the media in attendance. CD's, jump drives and other creative company information is always appreciated.

Press Release Guidelines
Interop owns its brands and content and must approve any third party use of its brands and content. If you plan to write a press release about your exhibitor announcement, sponsorship, speaking engagement or other activities around the event, follow these guidelines:
- Event boilerplate should be included in the press release (see boilerplate below)
- The date and location of the event should be included in the first paragraph: Interop Las Vegas 2011 is happening April 25-29th at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center
- If you would like to include a quote from Interop GM, Lenny Heymann, send your release and suggested quote for review and approval to Interop PR Specialist, Joylyn Tanner at . Please allow 24-48 hours turnaround time.
