Troy Trenchard leads Unified Communications Applications at Avaya, and is responsible for the vision, business and product strategy, product development and marketing of Avaya Conferencing, Messaging, Awareness and soft clients solutions.

Troy joined Avaya in 2012, bringing more than 30 years of experience in product management, marketing and hardware and software development. Prior to joining Avaya, he was Vice President and General Manager for Desktop Virtualization, Security and Acceleration solutions at Citrix Systems. Prior to Citrix, Troy was Director of Product Management and Marketing for Branch Office Routing, Broadband Fixed Wireless, and Unified Communications at Cisco Systems. Previous roles included product management and marketing positions at Apple Computer, and integrated circuit design at Hewlett-Packard.

Troy holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration, both from the University of California, Berkeley.

As VP of Sales for Blue Jeans Network, Shadi is responsible for all sales and customer acquisition activities.

Shadi brings over 15 years of SaaS and collaboration experience to the Blue Jeans Team. Prior to Blue Jeans, Shadi ran a Mid-Market & Enterprise Sales Team within the UC Group at Cisco WebEx. Shadi was part of the original WebEx team acquired by Cisco in 2007. At WebEx, Shadi built and ran WebEx’s Advanced Services Sales Team and 3rd Party Connect Applications Sales Groups. Prior to WebEx, Shadi served as Assistant Vice President at Bank of America working within the Premier Banking Group.

Shadi earned his BA from UC Berkeley and his MBA from Santa Clara University.

Joan Vandermate is Vice President of Product Marketing at Vidyo and brings experience in sales, business development, product management and marketing leadership roles to her position at Vidyo. Most recently Joan lead product management for Avaya’s contact center solutions focused on delivering Avaya’s contact center portfolio to new and expanding markets including the software as a service (SaaS) and mid-market segments. Previously Joan served as global Vice President of Marketing for Polycom, where she was responsible for marketing Polycom’s portfolio of video communications solutions. At Polycom Joan’s responsibilities included product marketing, competitive and go-to-market strategies for their video solutions to enterprises and service providers. She was previously the Vice President of Product Management at Siemens Communications, where she held P&L responsibility for a $300+ million telecommunications product portfolio.

Ran's background includes over 15 years of experience in networking, security, desktop and server virtualization in engineering, product management and deployment roles for market leaders such as Check Point Software Technologies, Nice Systems, Microsoft and Net Optics. Ran currently serves as the Director of Virtualization and Cloud Solutions at Net Optics, Inc. which is based in Santa Clara, California.

As Sr. Director of Product Management and Marketing for Gigamon, Huy Nguyen drives the strategy and direction for the company's Visibility Fabric architecture. He is responsible for planning and execution of Gigamon's hardware and software platforms across Enterprise, Data Center, and Service Provider markets. Nguyen brings over 20 years of experience in various leadership positions in the areas of product management, product and technical marketing, solutions marketing, business development, and editorial reviews with organizations including Extreme Networks, Bay Networks, and Ziff-Davis Publishing.

Maureen (Mo) Rozenhart is the Systems Engineering Manager/Technology Evangelist for Ixia Network Visibility Solutions. Ms Rozenhart has extensive experience working with customers to define and implement Network Management and Network Monitoring solutions. Prior to her current position at Ixia, Ms Rozenhart worked at T-Mobile, Cisco, SynOptics, Bay Networks and Boeing Computer Services. Mo enjoys finding creative solutions to complex problems and developing effective and motivated teams that are empowered to do the same.

Mr. Abdelhalim brings many years of networking and systems experience in both service provider and enterprise. At NetScout, he is responsible for driving end-to-end network and application visibility solutions comprising highly scalable monitoring fabrics and intelligent data sources and analytics. Prior to his work at NetScout, Mr. Abdelhalim held director of product management and marketing roles at Brocade Communications Systems for service provider products as well as for enterprise and data center products. During his tenure at Brocade he helped create and evangelize award-winning products including multi-service backbone and metro routers, high-end data center switches, and campus switches. He also played a key role in evangelizing and driving several solutions and architectures that are now widely accepted in the industry like Carrier Ethernet, All-IP/Ethernet architectures for CDNs and IPTV distribution, and infrastructure virtualization using MPLS/VRF for high security campus and data center applications.

Prior to Brocade, he held consulting and systems engineering roles at Siemens Ltd. and Digital Equipment Corp. (DEC) where he specialized in scalable, high speed LAN/WAN networks and high-performance computing systems based on UNIX, Symmetric Multi-Processing, and clustering.

As Vice President of Marketing Douglas Gourlay is responsible for product and solutions marketing, communications, and the strategic alliances of Arista Networks. Prior to joining Arista, Doug was the VP of Data Center Marketing at Cisco Systems where he held key roles in sales, product development, and marketing. Doug has filed or holds more than twenty patents in networking technologies. Prior to his work in the technology sector Doug served as a US Army Infantry Officer.

Steven Carlini is the Sr Director, Data Center Global Solutions for Schneider Electric. Schneider Electric is the “global specialist in energy management” with 114,000 employees and operations in 190 countries, had 2010 annual sales of $28 billion (€20 billion).

Steven is responsible developing integrated solutions and communicating the value proposition for Schneider Electric’s large data center segment. A frequent speaker at industry conferences and forums, Steven is an expert on the foundation layer of data centers which include Power & Power Distribution, Cooling & Technical Cooling, Rack systems, Physical Security, DCIM & DCFM Management solutions that improve availability and maximize performance.

Prior to joining Schneider Electric, who acquired APC in 2007, Steven ran the UPS Division for Toshiba International Corporation. Involved with the critical power and cooling industry since 1989, Steven has been responsible for guiding the direction of many industry changing products and solutions that solve real customer problems or give businesses competitive advantages.

Steven holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, and an MBA in International Business from the CT Bauer School at the University of Houston.

Steven Shalita has more than 20 years of industry and technology experience across service provider and enterprise markets with a strong background in enterprise networking, MPLS, and IP transformation projects. His wide range of experience includes service management and assurance to service delivery architecture including data center, LAN/WAN, core, edge and metro technologies as well as leading initiatives targeting convergence, mobility, triple-play and business services carrier environments. Steven has held senior marketing leadership positions at Alcatel-Lucent, Redback Networks, HP and Cisco. He returned to NetScout in July of 2008, and was previously Director, Product Marketing from 1997 through 1999.

Michael Adams joined VMware in 2007 and is a group product marketing manager working on the VMware vSphere platform. In his role, Michael helps drive efforts around product launches and helps evangelize the platform to both internal and external audiences. Prior to VMware, Michael lead the marketing efforts for the NetBackup product line at both Symantec and VERITAS Software. Prior to joining the vendor community, Michael was an open systems storage analyst for the Giga Information Group (now part of Forrester Research). Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Michigan.

Tom McCafferty is Sr. Director of Product Marketing for Citrix Cloud Platforms covering virtualization and cloud management including XenServer, CloudPlatform and CloudPortal Business Manager. He has over 20 years of experience in technology marketing ranging from networking and security to cloud orchestration and virtualization. Ryan Gaukroger is a National Solution Manager for infrastructure modernization and private cloud computing. A nine year Microsoft veteran, Ryan has spent time in technical, sales and marketing roles, mostly recently as a member of the Windows Server 2012 launch team. He has spent the majority of his career working with customers and partners to identify and deploy technology to solve their biggest infrastructure challenges. Prior to Microsoft, he was an application systems engineer with EDS and an infrastructure consultant with TogetherSoft. Ryan holds an MBA from the University of Washington and an undergraduate degree in management information systems.

Mike Robinson is a Senior Product Marketing Manager at NetIQ Corporation, where he is primarily responsible for the positioning, go-to-market strategies and sales enablement for the Cloud and Workload Management business. Robinson held similar responsibilities at PlateSpin and Novell, which recently became part of NetIQ. Prior to joining Novell in 2008, Robinson spent seven years at ADP as a product manager. He has also held product management and marketing positions in the networking and document management fields. Robinson holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Waterloo.

As a Senior Partner, Russ is a key contributor to Evaluator Group’s ongoing research into data storage technologies. His focus includes Data Center Transformation and virtualization, security, and data protection. Most recently Russ has been working on storage for VDI implementations and directing lab efforts within Evaluator Group. Russ has over 20 years of high technology experience including product design / development, systems engineering, competitive analysis and portfolio management. His experience encompasses a broad perspective of the storage industry and comes from roles as an IT data center engineer, storage product manager and storage analyst, Prior to joining Evaluator Group, Russ held strategic positions in Sun Microsystems’ storage division identifying key technology trends. He held several positions at Fujitsu ranging including IT management, engineering management and marketing strategy. Russ has also held high tech positions at Solbourne Computers, Qwest Telecommunications and the US Department of the Interior. Russ is a frequent contributor to InfoStor and Internet.com and speaks regularly within the SNIA community and at Storage Networking World events. A true Colorado native, a skier and outdoorsman, Russ holds BS degrees in Applied Math and Computer Science from the University of Colorado and an MBA in International Business and MIS, also from the University of Colorado.

Les Stuart is a Distinguished Architect of Network Management Solutions for HP Networking. As a Global Product Line Manager, he leads a large development team to create and define new and disruptive network management solutions for HP.
Prior to joining HP, Stuart held several positions as a developer, product line manager, and architect in the network management divisions at 3Com, Nortel, and Extreme Networks. Additionally, he held positions with network management standards groups, including the Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF), the Web-Based Enterprise Management (WBEM) and the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF

At Huawei, he is responsible for the Product Marketing, Product Management and GTM strategy for IP products line including Branch, Campus, WLAN, Security as part of the Global Enterprise Marketing Team. Ajay has been working in Networking and IT industry for over two decades at various Silicon Valley companies including Cisco, Juniper, Digital and multiple venture funded companies in various technologies such as Networking, Security, Cloud & virtualization. Earlier he held the positions of Director of Marketing at Juniper and McAfee where he has been responsible for product vision, go-to-market strategy and product positioning for multiple product lines. At Cisco, Ajay held various marketing and product management position where he was instrumental in building several new security and networking products and has taken them to market from zero to multi-million dollar run rates.

Dev Anand is the Director of Product Management @ManageEngine (ManageEngine is a division of Zoho Corp). Dev has a particular interest in simplifying IT operations through product management and has spent 13years in various product management and marketing roles in ManageEngine. He is the product manager for OpManager- a network management platform that competes with HP/IBM/CA tools and www.yourITpulse.com - a social networking site exclusively built for IT admins.

Darin Adcock joined Dowling Aaron Incorporated in 2005 as the IT Director. He manages all aspects of technology from servers and PCs to telecom and wireless solutions. Dowling Aaron is the Central Valley’s second largest full-service law firm with locations in Fresno, Bakersfield and Visalia, California. Adcock uses AirWatch to secure the 50 Attorneys’ cell phones and tablets. He earned his Master’s Degree in Digital Security from Golden Gate University and has been featured in BizTech Magazine and USA Today for mobile device security.

Scot has over 20 years of IT experience, both as a solutions architect and project manager. Scot has extensive cross functional knowledge having worked at Unilever for the past 15 years across many disciplines within the IT field. Currently Scot is responsible for the network solution designs, commercial validity of the designs, vendor management, managing outsource relationships with key partners, as well as looking ahead to align today’s needs with current and next generation technology cross functions within Unilever. Prior to joining Unilever, Scot has worked in various industries including Insurance, Pharmaceutical, Education, and as an outsourced partner. Scot has a Bachelor of Science, Chemical Engineering Degree from the University of Connecticut.

John Bollen is Senior Vice President and Chief Digital for MGM Resorts International. Bollen is responsible for defining, facilitating and leading the digital technology strategy for the Company from a customer viewpoint. Bollen’s focus is on working with the operating and technology teams to define MGM Resorts International’s customer digital experiences. In doing so, he develops best practices and key performance indicators that maximize MGM Resorts International’s existing digital capabilities, as well as create and execute new capabilities designed to drive customer service and revenue.

Bollen recently deployed MGM Resorts’ high-density Wi-Fi initiative from RFP, design, and configuration to construction, deployment and operations. Installed within several MGM Resorts’ properties, this system is the world’s largest hospitality Wi-Fi, which can service all MGM Resorts’ connected guests concurrently as well as MGM Resorts’ operational requirements. Bollen currently is expanding the system to provide Wi-Fi service to guest rooms.

In addition, Bollen oversees the execution of technology for 15 resorts, including data centers, PBX, 211 business systems and in-room technologies. While serving in this position since 2010, he also has developed technology operations and budgets for several other MGM Resorts International properties throughout the world.

Prior to this role, Bollen was the technology leader for CityCenter, a 67-acre urban resort destination on the Las Vegas Strip which opened in 2009. Bollen oversaw strategic vision, management and the execution of all technology for 18 million square feet of CityCenter.

Before working with MGM Resorts International, Bollen was Vice President of Product Development and Studio Operations for NBC Universal in Universal City, Calif. from 2002-2007. He also served as Chief Information Officer for a start-up medical utility company in San Diego, Calif. from 2001-2002.

Bollen has a Master of Business Administration degree from University of San Francisco and Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Passionate about customer service, Mary Cruse has led teams for Fortune 500 companies for more than 25 years, in the airline, financial, healthcare and hospitality industries. She has extensive experience in leading both technical and non-technical customer service centers, with an expertise in all aspects of team building and performance management, as well as service center design and technology, workflow definitions and design, metrics, and SLA design and implementation.

Mary’s primary responsibilities at First American Title include leading the Service Desk, Desktop Support, Executive Support and the Depot Fulfillment Teams covering employees globally. Mary carries the HDI certifications of Help Desk Analyst, Help Desk Manager and Certified Training Instructor as well as the CIAC Call Center Operations Manager Certification.

Extremely active in the customer service industry, Mary participates in multiple industry groups and speaks regularly at industry conferences and seminars. With HDI, Mary is involved at the local, Regional and National level, including Vice President of the Help Desk Chapters, Inc Non-Profit Association Board, and the HDI Editorial Board. She is Chair Emeritus of the Member Advisory Board and Member Emeritus of the Strategic Advisory Board of HDI. With ICMI, Mary serves on the Call Center Industry Advisory Council.

Brian Fox, formerly the onsite program manager responsible for the Volkswagen relationship and co-winner of the 2010 HDI Team Excellence award, has over twenty years of experience in the IT support world. Having worked within the pharmaceutical, Insurance, financial, manufacturing, research and development, automotive, energy and manufacturing spaces, he is able to relate to almost any IT support challenge or need. He brings the unique, multiple perspectives as the leader of a large managed services team that includes in-house staff, augmented staff, and insourced service teams.

John Reed, senior executive director of Robert Half Technology, is a frequently quoted expert on employment trends in the IT field, and has been featured in various media outlets including Computerworld, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today and Fox News. He has also been involved in several professional organizations and has been a featured speaker for HDI both locally and nationally.

Ahmed Datoo's experience in the technology industry spans strategic planning, brand marketing, software engineering and product management. Currently, he is running product marketing for Citrix’s Mobile Platforms Group. Prior to Citrix, Mr. Datoo was CMO at Zenprise, which was acquired by Citrix in early 2013. Before that, he was at EDS, where he was a global Director of Product Development. While at EDS, he built and launched several workflow automation and monitoring automation modules that generated multi-million dollar savings globally. Prior to EDS, Mr. Datoo was on Loudcloud's product management team where he focused on monitoring, storage and performance networking products. Previously, he was a brand manager at Yahoo! where he co-developed the print and radio promotions for Yahoo! Shopping. Mr. Datoo began his career as a strategy consultant at Accenture where he created high tech product development strategies for telecos, media conglomerates and hardware manufacturers. Mr. Datoo holds an MBA, M.A., and B.A. from Stanford University.

Mr. Kueh is currently the VP of Mobile Platform Solutions & Strategy at SAP. In this role, Mr. Kueh is responsible for overall strategy and go-to-market execution for mobility platform products and solutions. A highly accomplished strategic executive, Mr. Kueh brings to SAP over 15 years of technical and strategic product management, marketing, and product innovation experience, all in the field of mobile computing. Previous to SAP, Mr. Kueh held executive and management positions at Microsoft, Qualcomm, Palm/HP, Sybase, and Antenna Software. Mr. Kueh received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his Masters of Business Administration from Duke University.

Ryan is responsible for WatchDox’s products and marketing groups. He focuses on making sure as many organizations as possible know how WatchDox can help them access, control, and collaborate with their most sensitive information on any device.

With 14 years of experience in a variety of roles in the US and EMEA, Ryan has an extensive background in information security. Prior to WatchDox, Ryan ran solutions across HP’s portfolio of security products. Before its acquisition by HP, Ryan was director of products at ArcSight. Previously with VeriSign, Ryan held a variety of positions, including EMEA regional manager and senior product manager. Prior to its acquisition by VeriSign, Kalember was one of the founding members of Guardent’s consulting practice, helping clients build many of the world’s leading security organizations. Before joining Guardent, Ryan co-founded a company that created authentication and encryption tools, working with financial institutions and government agencies before contributing the technology to the open source community.

Ryan received his bachelor’s degree from Stanford University, where he studied fault tolerance, cryptography, and authentication algorithms.

Tyler is the Chief Marketing Officer at Fixmo, the mobile risk management company. As CMO, Tyler leads the marketing and product strategy efforts for Fixmo's suite of Mobile Risk Management solutions that target government agencies, private enterprise, wireless operators and professional consumers. Tyler is currently focused on expanding Fixmo's product offerings to encompass device and data integrity assurance, context-aware data protection and policy enforcement, device and data loss prevention, compliance assurance and enterprise auditability. Prior to joining Fixmo, Tyler was Vice President of BlackBerry Global Alliances and Developer Relations at Research In Motion (RIM).

Srinivas Krishnamurti is a Senior Director for Mobile Solutions in the CTO Office. He is responsible for defining and driving VMware's product and go to market strategy for mobile phones and emerging devices.

Previously, as part of the emerging markets group, he led VMware's Linux Strategy and was responsible for launching VMware Fusion into the consumer market. Prior to that, he led the product management team for VMware's developer products. Before joining VMware, Srinivas was responsible for product management of the software configuration management product line at Rational Software. Srinivas has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University and an MBA from Leavey School of Business.

Lee Kedrie is Managing Partner of Advanced Technologies supporting the adoption of solutions leveraging the entirety of HP’s portfolio including cloud computing, digital hospital and unified communications and collaboration. As a chief technologist for HP Cloud Computing and IT Shared Services he is a recognized thought leader in next-generation computing. He has directly contributed to the design of cutting-edge HP solutions that incorporate shared utility computing models. Eric Dahlen is a Microserver System & Workload Architect and lead technologist for CPG. He is responsible for mapping customer usages and workloads to microserver system level architecture, internal product and technology pathfinding, and technical innovation process. He spent 20 years in server component development, most spent on chipset projects and their associated technologies.

Tim Mackey is a corporate evangelist for XenServer and CloudPlatform within the Citrix Cloud Platforms Group and focused on server virtualization and cloud orchestration technical competencies. He joined Citrix through the Reflectent acquisition in 2006, and served as architect and developer for Citrix EdgeSight; an end user experience performance monitoring solution. In 2007, Mr. Mackey became technical product manager for the EdgeSight product line and then in 2009 product manager for the Citrix Essentials self-service virtualization components. Prior to Citrix, Mr. Mackey was an architect and developer at EventZero, and helped to design the first self check-out systems for retailers at Optimal Robotics.

Gus is an executive with broad experience developing, implementing, and leading global Information Security, Business Continuity and Crisis Management programs. He has over fifteen years industry experience in a variety of risk based leadership roles. He is known as an industry leader: through hands-on implementation experience, publications, visits on CNBC, speaking at industry conferences, authorship of cutting-edge models, consulting achievements and international advisory roles.

Over the years, Michael A. Davis has earned a reputation as one of the nation's leading authorities on information technology. The list of organizations that rely on his council includes AT&T, Sears, Exelon, the US Department of Defense, and Discover Financial.

Mr. Davis is President of External IT, a national managed IT services, cloud services, and IT security provider that focuses on unifying the business IT experience.

Scott Emo has over 20 years of experience in the high tech industry in aspects of product marketing, product management and technology marketing. Emo has managed a vast number of enterprise technology areas including, Endpoint Security, Network Security, Data and Mobile Security, Managed Services, Network Infrastructure, Co-location, Microprocessor Architecture, Unix Servers and Network Adapters. He has held leadership roles in many of Silicon Valley’s elite companies including Check Point, McAfee, Symantec, Exodus Communications, Cable & Wireless, Savvis, and HP.

John Shier is a Senior Security Expert at Sophos. John provides advice and insight into the latest threats for security and IT professionals with the goal of providing clear guidance on complex topics through Sophos and Channel Partner sponsored events. He also provides technical sales support and product education to Sophos partners and customers.

Scott Davis is Chief Technology Officer for VMware’s End User Computing Business Unit and core staff member in VMware’s Corporate Office of the CTO. He is involved in driving product and technology strategy spanning the breadth of VMware’s product lines, from Desktop to Data Center and Cloud initiatives. He has also served as VMware's Chief Data Center Architect/Storage CTO. A recognized expert in virtualization, clustering, operating systems, file systems and storage, Scott has held senior engineering and business management roles with both startup ventures and established industry firms. Prior to joining VMware, he was a strategic consultant to Fidelity Investments and President, CTO and Founder of Virtual Iron Software, which was acquired by Oracle and became the core of OracleVM. Prior to co-founding Virtual Iron, he was Chief Technology Officer at Mangosoft, an Internet software and storage company with pioneering peer-to-peer clustering, caching and file system products. Earlier, Scott was Technical Director for Digital's industry acclaimed VAXCluster and VMS Volume Shadowing products, as well as DEC’s Windows NT clustering technology (later sold to Microsoft as the genesis of Microsoft 'Wolfpack' Cluster Server). Scott holds 16 US patents for clustering, storage and virtualization technologies and his products have won awards at Comdex, Demo and LinuxWorld.

Sumit Dhawan is Group VP and GM, Citrix Receiver and End User Services Group. His group is responsible for end user solutions for self-service access to apps, desktops and data via Citrix Receiver from any device types with high performance delivery across all networks. Most recently, he served as VP of Product Marketing for the XenDesktop product group.

Paul Mayfield is a 15-year veteran at Microsoft. During this time, he has led engineering teams for networking, security, management and virtualization projects across Windows, Windows Server, MDOP and System Center. Today, he focuses on solutions that enable IT Pros to securely deliver applications and services to all of their employees’ devices. Paul holds nine patents and actively volunteers in projects that advocate Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education. He serves on the Engineering National Advisory Committee at the University of Utah where he earned his degree in Computer Science.
