Greg Smith is the director of product marketing for Citrix System's Application Networking solutions. Greg joined Citrix through the company's acquisition of NetScaler in 2005, bringing more than 14 years of experience in engineering, product management and product marketing. Mark Weiner is Director of Market Management for Data Center Solutions at Cisco Systems, focusing on Cisco application delivery technologies. As part of Cisco’s Borderless Networks Initiative, Shashi Kiran heads the Enterprise Routing and WAN Optimization Marketing team for the Network Systems and Security group at Cisco. Mark McReynolds, MCSE, CISSP is a Principal Technology Specialist with Microsoft. Mark has 15 years of industry experience and ten years of experience working with Microsoft Consulting Services and Microsoft’s Enterprise Product Group delivery Windows Server based solutions. For the past five years Mark has focused on virtualization technologies and has worked extensively with Microsoft’s enterprise customers delivering server and client based virtualization solutions. In addition to his technical work, Mark speaks at dozens of customer, partner and industry events each year, including the recent Windows 7 / Windows Server 2008 R2 product launch.

Randy Rowland is responsible for the managed hosting business unit for Terremark. Steven Shalita is Vice President, Marketing, and leads the global marketing activities. Mr. Leinwand is a venture partner in the firm and focuses on technology investments. Prior to this role, he joined JPMorgan Partners as an operating partner in 2004. From 2001 to 2004, he was President and Co-founder of Proficient Networks, Inc. From 2000 to 2001, he was Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering at Telegis Networks, Inc. In 1997 Mr. Leinwand joined Digital Island, Inc. (NASDAQ: ISLD) at inception and served as their Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer through the company's IPO and secondary offering. From 1990 to 1997, Mr. Leinwand served as Manager of Consulting Engineering and Senior Software Engineer at Cisco Systems, Inc. helping to build and engineer service provider and enterprise networks worldwide. He co-authored "Cisco Router Configuration" and "Network Management: A Practical Perspective" and has been granted a patent in the field of data routing. He currently is an Adjunct Professor at the University of California, Berkeley where he teaches the subjects of computer networks, network management, and network design. Mark Fernandes is a Managing Director at Sierra Ventures and focuses on infrastructure software investments in the consumer internet and enterprise software areas. Jeremy Edberg is currently the Operations Manager for reddit.com, an Alexa top 300 web site, whose entire operations are run on EC2. For the 10 years before reddit, he had worked as a Systems Administrator, Programmer, and Security Engineer for such companies as eBay, PayPal, and Sendmail and UC Berkeley. He graduated with a Cognitive Science degree from UC Berkeley.

Thorsten co-founded RightScale, Inc, the leading cloud management platform. Previously, Thorsten was Chief Architect at Expertcity.com and Citrix Online, makers of GoToMyPC, GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar, and GoToAssist. He was responsible for the overall architecture of these online services and also managed the 24/7 datacenter operations which allowed him to acquire deep knowledge in deploying and running secure scalable online services. Tate Cantrell’s primary responsibilities include product design and development and data center operations. Mr. Cantrell has been in the mission-critical facilities business for more than 15 years and has overseen the build-out and operationalization of some the largest and most sophisticated data centers in the industry.Prior to Verne Global, Mr. Cantrell was Vice President, Data Center Technologies, at Dupont Fabros Technology, the second-largest pure-play data center REIT in the United States. He was responsible for development and execution of operational strategies critical to the start-up of the Dupont Fabros Development Wholesale Data Center business model, the first of its kind in the industry.

Paul Congdon is Chief Technology Officer for HP ProCurve and an HP Fellow, one of the elite HP employees recognized as pioneers in their fields. He is responsible for specifying, architecting and designing ProCurve network infrastructure and software products. In his 25 years in the networking industry, he has become widely esteemed as an inventor and leader in driving networking industry standards. Congdon is the Vice Chairman of the IEEE 802.1 committee and Technical Advisor for the IETF RADIUS Extensions Working Group, and his long-time activities with the IEEE 802 standards efforts involved him in the creation of the Ethernet LAN. He is co-inventor of the commonly used TCP checksum offloading, a program for accelerating the networking performance of TCP/IP within servers. He also architected the method of distributing ProCurve software onto multiple processors, enabling ProCurve switch software to scale between low-cost, single-chip solutions and high-end, multi-modular chassis systems. After completing internships with IBM, Congdon joined HP in 1985 as a Software Development Engineer responsible for the creation of networking protocols within HP-UX. He expanded his focus to infrastructure architecture issues and has been involved in the design of a wide range of network devices and technologies, including routers, Layer 2/3/4 switches, iSCSI storage devices, SNA, X.25, FDDI, Ethernet, wireless LANs, virtual LANs, link aggregation and access security protocols, including IEEE 802.1X. Congdon earned Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, and Master of Science degrees in computer science from California State University, Chico. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of California, Davis. He currently holds ten patents related to the networking industry and has several more in process.

Dhritiman Dasgupta (aka DD) is Senior Product Marketing Manager, Fabric and Switching Technologies at Juniper Networks. Paul Congdon is Chief Technology Officer for HP ProCurve and an HP Fellow, one of the elite HP employees recognized as pioneers in their fields. He is responsible for specifying, architecting and designing ProCurve network infrastructure and software products. In his 25 years in the networking industry, he has become widely esteemed as an inventor and leader in driving networking industry standards. Congdon is the Vice Chairman of the IEEE 802.1 committee and Technical Advisor for the IETF RADIUS Extensions Working Group, and his long-time activities with the IEEE 802 standards efforts involved him in the creation of the Ethernet LAN. He is co-inventor of the commonly used TCP checksum offloading, a program for accelerating the networking performance of TCP/IP within servers. Jon Flower is the vice president of technology at Adaptec, responsible for developing and implementing technologies to expand the company's leadership beyond the data storage I/O market. He leads the Adaptec engineering team at several levels, ranging from product concept development and architectural design, to the development of engineering and test specifications. John Bartlett is a leading authority on real-time traffic, application performance and Quality of Service (QoS) techniques. Marty bases is UC activities on his experience in sales, strategic planning, product line management, financial management and general management positions in both computing (IBM) and communications (ATT/Lucent/Avaya) firms, as well as with two venture funded firms and with a very large west-coast telecom interconnect firm in the 1980s.
